Germany Cup. Russian Olympic team - Slovakia - 1:3

The Russian Olympic team conceded a disappointing 1:3 defeat to Slovakia in the second match of the 2021 Germany Cup.

Roman Bychkov initially gave Russia the lead in the third minute. However, the Slovaks responded twice in the first period, as Samuel Takac and Adrian Holesinsky beat Alexander Samonov in our net to give the opponents an advantage.

Samuel Bucek subsequently secured the win for Slovakia midway through the third frame with a third marker.

Russia will now prepare to face Switzerland tomorrow in the concluding game of the competition. Puck-drop is scheduled for 13:00 Moscow time.
