Reaction after the second friendly match against Czech Republic U18

09.10.2021
Following the second friendly match against the Czech Republic, under 18 Russian national team head coach Vladimir Filatov and forward Alexander Legkov shared their emotions:

Russia U18 head coach Vladimir Filatov:

- Even though the opponents were too aggressive at times, our guys stood tall to the challenge and achieved the desired result. In the second period, our goalkeeper Yegor Korzin saved us, he made a number of excellent saves when the Czechs built up some momentum. Some of our players picked up injuries in this game, not all of them could play to the end, This is an important international experience for our team, it's been a great opportunity to come and play here.

Russia U18 forward Alexander Legkov:

- We scored a lot of goals and coped with the physical challenge. Our goaltender was great, had it not been for his solid performance, it would have been a different match. We caught the Czechs on the counter-attack for our shorthanded goals, they made mistakes whereas we did our best to avoid silly errors. Our physical condition? We had trained well in Novogorsk, so we feel good.
