2021 Women's World Championship. Canada - Russia - 5:1

In the second match of the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship, the senior Russian women's national team couldn't cope with the challenge posed by competition hosts Canada, conceding a 1:5 defeat in Calgary.

The only Russian goal was scored by Olga Sosina in the last second of play in the third period. A combination of goalkeepers Nadezhda Morozova and Anna Prugova stopped 57 of the 62 shots unleashed by the Canadians.

Our team will now prepare to face the USA in the next game on Tuesday. Puck-drop is scheduled for 21:00 Moscow time.
