In the semi-finals of the 2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, the under 18 Russian national team saw off the Swedish challenge in a thriller, claiming a dramatic 7:5 victory.

Our players will now face Slovakia in the grand final, which is scheduled to take place at 18:00 Moscow time on Saturday.

Daniil Larkin, Alexander Perevalov, Matvei Michkov (2), Daniil Grigoryev, Ilya Rogovsky and Ruslan Gazizov all hit the target to secure the eventful win, despite Jonathan Lekkerimaki registering a hat-trick for Sweden.
