Today, in the semi-finals of the 2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, the under 18 Russian national team will face Sweden.
In the group stage of the competition, our team progressed with a perfect record, defeating Finland (5:2), Switzerland (9:2) and the Czech Republic (7:3) while producing impressive attacking performances.
Meanwhile, the Swedes only conceded the one loss to Slovakia (3:4) while beating Germany and the USA both by a score of 5:3.
The winner will face either Slovakia or Finland in the grand final.
