2021 World Championship. Russia - Denmark

The senior Russian national team will face Denmark in the fourth match of the 2021 IIHF World Championship in Riga, Latvia.

So far, Russia have only lost the one game at the competition, conceding a defeat to Slovakia (1:3) while beating the Czech Republic (4:3) and Great Britain (7:1). For their part, the Danes have defeated Sweden (4:3) and Britain (3:2 SO) while coming up short against Switzerland (0:1).

Russia, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland and Great Britain are all competing in Group A together. Group B consists of Germany, Latvia, Canada, Finland, Norway, Kazakhstan, the USA and Italy.

Yesterday, our players trained in these following lines:

Group 1

Goalkeepers: Samonov, Bocharov.
Whites: Nesterov, Zadorov - Slepyshev, Shalunov, Barabanov.
Blues: Gavrikov, Provorov - Tolchinsky, Karnaukhov, Voronkov.
Reds: Ozhiganov, Rafikov - Galimov, Morozov, Burdasov.
Blacks: Dronov - Shvets-Rogovoi, Kamenev, Timkin.

Group 2

Goalkeepers: Bocharov, Fedotov.
Defenseman: A. Marchenko.
Forward: Ilya Safonov.

Puck-drop is scheduled for 16:15 Moscow time. Match TV will provide a live television broadcast in Russia.
