2021 World U18 Championship. Germany - Russia - 1:6

In the third match of the group stage of the 2021 IIHF World U18 Championship, the under 18 Russian national team breezed past Germany, earning a routine 6:1 victory.

Russia are now consequently guaranteed a berth in the quarter-finals of the competition in the USA.

Without doubt, the star of the show was gifted 16-year-old forward Matvei Michkov, as he registered a memorable lacrosse goal and a between-the-legs marker while tallying four goals in the game. Danila Yurov and Ilya Kvochko also hit the jackpot.

17-year-old goaltender Sergei Ivanov stopped 16 of the 17 shots he faced, including a penalty shot during the second period.
