History of matches between Russia and Belarus with Liga Stavok

Liga Stavok, the official partner of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, looks back at matches between Russia and Belarus ahead of the maiden 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Challenge battle:

- Overall, these nations have met on 14 occasions across all competitions, with Russia earning 11 regulation victories and a further one in a penalty shootout. Belarus have tallied one win, while one game also ended in a draw;

- Seven of the 14 matches have ended with Russia not winning by more than two clear goals. Our team has also conceded a minimum of one goal in practically all of the games;

- The most productive game saw the Russians defeat the Belarusians 6:4 in the group stages of the 2002 Olympic Games.

Liga Stavok has Russia as the favourites at 1.19, while the chances of a draw are estimated at 7.25 and a Belarusian regulation victory at 8.31.
