74 years since the birth of Alexander Gusev

January 21 marks the 74th anniversary of Alexander Gusev's birth, a legendary Soviet defenseman who won the 1976 Olympic Games with the senior national team.
Furthermore, Alexander won the World Championship in 1973 and 1974, while also becoming a USSR champion in 1968, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975 and 1977 and claiming the USSR Cup in 1968, 1969 and 1973.
Alexander sadly passed away on 22 July 2020.
