Vasily Pervukhin is 65!

Vasily Pervukhin, one of the quickest defensemen in the history of Soviet and Russian ice hockey, is celebrating his 65th birthday today on January 1.
He won the 1984 Olympic Games, an Olympic silver medal in 1980 and the World Championship in 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1986. VIktor scored four goals in 93 appearances across the Olympics and World Championship competitions.
