2021 World Junior Championship. Russia U20 - USA U20

The under 20 Russian national team will compete against the USA in the first match of the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship in Edmonton, Canada.

In friendly games ahead of the competition, Russia fell to Canada 0:1, while the Americans defeated Finland 3:2.

This is the Russian roster for the tournament:

Goalkeepers: Yaroslav Askarov (SKA Saint Petersburg), Artur Akhtyamov (Ak Bars Kazan), Vsevolod Skotnikov (CSKA Moscow).

Defensemen: Roman Bychkov (Lokomotiv Yaroslavl), Kirill Kirsanov, Yegor Shekhovtsov (both SKA Saint Petersburg), Artemiy Knyazev (Ak Bars Kazan), Yan Kuznetsov (Connecticut University), Shakir Mukamadullin (Salavat Yulaev Ufa), Daniil Chayka (CSKA Moscow), Semyon Chistyakov (Avangard Omsk).
