An online RIHF conference

On December 23, an online conference of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) took place, with the event dedicated to the summing up of results of the implementation of additional professional courses for coaches and ice hockey specialists within the framework of the "Sport is the Right Way to Live" federal project.

The conference was attended by specialists representing the RIHF, the Russian Ministry of Sport and specialised universities.

In 2020, the programs "Modern Technologies for Training Ice Hockey Players at the Stages of Sporting Improvement" and "Modern Technologies for Training the Sporting Reserve in Ice Hockey" were implemented in seven educational institutions in Saint Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Kazan, Malakhovka and Moscow.

During the conference, reports were made by Marina Shchennikova, the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science and International Relations of the Ministry of Sport, Evgeny Sukhachyov, the Head of the RIHF Department for the Development of the Red Machine National Development Program and representatives of universities. The participants noted the high organizational and methodological level of refresher courses.
