On December 18, a business meeting took place with the Minister of Physical Culture and Sport for Novosibirsk Region Sergei Akhapov, general director of the Acting Directory of the 2023 World Junior Championship Vladimir Tukmachev, Minister of Youth, Physical Culture and Sport for Omsk Region Dmitry Krikoryants and other members of the Novosibirsk Region and Omsk Region authorities.
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation was represented by Executive Director Dmitry Kurbatov and Deputy Executive Director Alexander Kiknadze.
The parties discussed matters concerning the organisation and staging of the 2023 World Junior Championship, which will take place in Novosibirsk and Omsk.
