The 2020 World Hockey Forum

The 2020 World Hockey Forum will be held on the 16th and 17th of December.
However, due to the current situation, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation has decided that this year the conference will be staged in an online format, meaning that participants can take part in the event from all around the world. It will be staged with the support of the IIHF, Russian Ministry of Sport, the Russian Olympic Committee and the Moscow Sport Organisation.
The forum has been held annualy in December since 2016, wih interest growing with each passing year. Guests of the forum include Rene Fasel, Vladislav Tretiak, Roman Rotenberg, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, Graham Roustan, Vladimir Yurzinov, Roman Skvortsov and Viktor Gusev.
This year, the forum will discuss topical issues concerning the staging of domestic and international competitions in the current pandemic, digitalisation of ice hockey, the impact of new technologies on the training process, new approaches in cooperation with sponsors and fans and other topics. The coaching seminar remains a traditional part of the program and will also be organised online.
