Euro Hockey Tour. Russia - Finland

05.11.2020
Today, the senior Russian national team will compete against Finland in Helsinki in the first match of the 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Tour.
This year, Russia have taken a very young team to the Karjala Cup, with only forward Vasily Podkolzin having previously played for the senior national side in the past. Nevertheless, highly talented players such as Yaroslav Askarov (goalkeeper), Shakir Mukhamadullin (defenseman) and Rodion Amirov (forward) will certainly be eager to prove themselves at such a high level.
Igor Larionov is the acting head coach for this particular competition. The Russians will subsequently face Sweden and the Czech Republic in the tournament at the weekend.
Puck drop is scheduled for 19.30 Moscow time at the Hartwall Arena. Match TV will provide a live television broadcast in Russia.
