The 2021 Women's World Junior Championship has been cancelled

The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) today, on September 17, revealed that the 2021 Women's World Junior Championship has been cancelled.

The decision was taken in accordance with the current situation concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.

The tournament was originally due to take place in Sweden between the 5th and 12th of January 2021.
