Friendly match. HC Sochi - Russian U20 Olympic team - 2:3

In the second of two planned friendly matches, the under 20 Russian Olympic national team managed to defeat KHL club HC Sochi, earning a 3:2 victory.

Yegor Afanasyev and Matvey Guskov both scored for Russia, with the latter hitting the jackpot twice to secure the triumph. The winning goal was registered with less than six minutes remaining on the clock.

Vsevolod Skotnikov stopped 29 of 31 Sochi shots he faced.

At the upcoming Sochi Hockey Open tournament, these two teams will once again play against each other, with the battle scheduled for August 4.
