Olympic champion Alexander Gusev has passed away

Alexander Gusev, a champion of the 1976 Olympic Games as a defenseman of the USSR national team, has sadly passed away at the age of 73.

He also claimed gold at the 1973 and 1974 World and European Championships.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation extends its sincere condolences to Alexander's family and friends.
