Russia U17 train in Novogorsk

30.01.2020
On January 29, the under 17 Russian national team held a training session, with the Five Nations competition in Ufa soon approaching.

The team will fly to Ufa on February 4, before the tournament begins a day later with a match against Sweden at 17:00 Moscow time.

Games will be played at the Ufa Arena.

Russia U17 defenseman Vasily Shumilov:

- I will cope with the nerves before the tournament begins. To play at home in Ufa and defend my country's flag is a huge honour. I have to deal with the tension and show my best ice hockey.

Russia U17 forward Alexander Figurin:
