2020 World W18 Championship. Russia W18 - Finland W18

The under 18 Russian women's national team will play against Finland in the third place playoff of the 2020 IIHF World W18 Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia.
These two teams met in Group A of the competition, with goals from Polina Luchnikova, Kristi Shashkina (2) and Ilona Markova earned a hard-fought 4:2 victory.
So far in the competition, Russia have earned wins against th Finns and Sweden (4:0), while conceding defeats against Canada (2:3 OT) and the USA (0:1, 0:3). The second loss to the Americans was suffered in Wednesday's semi-final.
Finland, for their part, beat the Czech Republic 3:1 in the quarter-final, before being beaten 1:4 by Canada in the semi-final stage. The Finns lost to the USA (1:4), Canada (1:4) and Russia (2:4) in the group phase.
Puck drop is scheduled for 14:30 Moscow time.
