In the second match of the 2020 IIHF World W18 Championship, the under 18 Russian women's national team conceded a disappointing 0:1 defeat to the USA, with the only goal having been scored in the 55th minute of play.
Ella Huber hit the target with 54:31 on the clock.
Russia, having started out with two narrow losses to the Canadians and Americans, will now prepare to face Finland in the concluding Group A game on Sunday. Puck drop is scheduled for 18:30 Moscow time.
