2019 Channel One Cup. Russia - Finland. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation looks back at statistics to emerge from the 2019 Channel One Cup match against Finland at the Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg:

- Russia have beaten Finland in six consecutive Channel One Cup matches since the 2014 edition of the competition;

- The Russians haven't conceded against the Finns in 199 minutes and 45 seconds in Channel One Cup games;

- Overall, in 24 stages of the Euro Hockey Tour at home, 250 different players have represented Russia. One goalkeeper, two defensemen and seven forwards debuted for the senior national team at the 2019 Channel One Cup;

- In 60 Euro Hockey Tour appearances, forward Vadim Shipachyov has tallied 35 (9+26) points:

- Anton Burdasov possesses four assists in 25 senior national team games;

- Mikhail Grigorenko (10+10), Nikita Nesterov (4+6) and Anton Slepyshev (6+2) have all played in 20 Euro Hockey Tour matches during their respective careers;

- Defenseman Vyacheslav Voynov boasts 20 (5+10) points in 37 Russian national team matches;

- In five matches against Finland, goalkeeper Ilya Sorokin has only conceded three goals, tallying three shutouts and four wins in those games.
