Russia W18 win the Four Nations

In Sweden, the under 18 Russian women's national team defeated the host nation 4:2, in turn winning the Four Nations competition.

Kristi Shashkina equalised after Sweden had initially taken the lead. After Sofiya Lifatova scored a second Russian goal, Sweden did strike an equaliser of their own, but further goals from Polina Luchnikova and Elizaveta Shkalyova sealed the victory.

Russia claimed nine points in three matches to win the Four Nations. In addition, Anna Alpatova was named the best goaltender of the tournament.
