U18 World Hockey Challenge. Russia - USA - 2:7

In the concluding game of the group stage of the 2019 World Hockey Challenge, the under 18 Russian national team came up short against the USA, conceding a heavy 2:7 defeat.

During the second period, Ilya Rychkov did initially get Russia back on level terms, but the Americans subsequently scored six consecutive goals to seal their victory. Nikita Buruyanov registered the second Russian goal.

Russia will now prepare to play against either Canada East or the Czech Republic in the semi-finals of the competition.
