In a friendly match ahead of the 2019 U18 World Hockey Challenge, the Russian national team performed well against Canada West, claiming a confident 6:3 triumph.
Pavel Tyutnev, Nikita Buruyanov, Daniil Gushchin, Nikita Kiryanov - twice - and Vasily Ponomarev all scored the Russian goals.
Russia U18 will now prepare for the first game of the competition against Canada East which will begin at 01:00 Moscow time on December 8.
