Russia U17 held a training session in Novogorsk

Ahead of the upcoming Four Nations competition in Kazan, the under 17 Russian national team held a training session in Novogorsk.

The players trained in these following lines:

Kanaev, Brinkman, Grishin;
Ivanov, Grudinin - Petrov, Ivantsov, Mekhovov;
Mintyukov, Berezovsky - Poltapov, Lazutin, Chibrikov;
Shumilov, Lukashevich - Svechkov, Gaydamak, Gorfinyak;
Romaker, Dimitrov - D. Nazarov, Bilan, I. Nazarov;
Sadretdinov, Safronov - Blednov, Ziminov, Grebenkin.

Russia U17 forward Dmitry Nazarov:

- I am really happy to be with the under 17 national team for the first time. We have a great atmosphere within the team and we're training very well. I know practically everyone in the team, and I'm ready for the tournament in Kazan. We will try to win, even if the opponents will be strong.

Russia U17 forward, Ivan Mekhovov:

- We managed to rest after the World Hockey Challenge before we began training again. I am ready for new tournaments, both physically and psychologically. The Four Nations is just as important as the World Hockey Challenge. We can't underestimate the opponents, all of them will be good.

The team will travel to Kazan on December 13. The first game of the Four Nations will take place a day later against Slovakia at 19:00 Moscow time. Entry to the stadium is free.
