2019 Karjala Cup. Sweden - Russia - 4:5 SO

The senior Russian national team defeated Sweden 5:4 in a penalty shootout in the second match of the 2019 Karjala Cup.

Anton Slepyshev, Damir Zhafyarov, Kirill Semyonov and Nikita Soshnikov scored in regulation time, before the latter registered the winning penalty shot.

Sweden had recovered from a two-goal deficit in the third period to force overtime.

Russia will next play at the competition tomorrow against the Czech Republic in Finland.
