In a friendly match, the under 17 Russian national team defeated Metallurg Cherepovets of the NMHL 4:1 ahead of the upcoming World Challenge Cup.
Nikita Chibrikov, Vladimir Sychyov and Fyodor Svechkov - twice - all scored.
Russia will leave for Canada on the morning of October 28. On November 1, a friendly will take place against Canada White, before the World Challenge Cup starts with a match with Canada Red two days later.
