The Vympel ice hockey school will work in accordance with the Red Machine National Development Program.

An agreement was signed between the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the GBU Moscow City Physical Culture Association which will allow the Vympel ice hockey school to work in accordance with the Red Machine National Development Program. Children between the ages of five and 10 train at the academy.

"It's important for the Russian Ice Hockey Federation that our schools begin working in accordance with the Red Machine National Development Program," stated RIHF vice-president, team leader Roman Rotenberg. "Vympel are one of the first schools in the country to do this. The program allows for more productive work in terms of training young players. We will analyse the results in order to draw the right conclusions with the future in mind."

"It is a great honour for us to cooperate with the RIHF concerning the Red Machine National Development Program," said general director of the GBU Moscow City Physical Culture Association Vadim Shumilov. "Our ice hockey school needs a new impetus, and we are sure that the Red Machine program will help us compete with the leading academies in the capital region. We are always developing the philosophy of our program."

The Red Machine National Development Program was created by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and was approved by the Russian Federation Ministry of Sport. It allows all Russian ice hockey players to train in accordance with one program.
