The Russian women's national team are beginning their season

On August 12, a training camp began for the senior Russian women's national team, as the 2019/2020 season begins.
These following players are training with the team:
Goalkeepers: Valeria Merkusheva (Dynamo Saint Petersburg), Nadezhda Morozova (Biryusa Krasnoyarsk), Elizaveta Kondakova (Tornado Dmitrov).
Defenders: Alyona Andryushchenko, Ekaterina Nikolaeva, Anastasia Chistyakova (all Dynamo Saint Petersburg), Maria Batalova, Anna Shibanova (both Agidel Ufa), Nina Pirogova, Anna Savonina (both Tornado Dmitrov), Liana Ganeeva (SK Gorniy), Elena Provorova (SKIF Nizhny Novgorod).
Forwards: Alyona Starovoytova, Anna Shokhina, Alevtina Shtaryova (all Tornado Dmitrov), Anna Timofeeva, Ekaterina Dobrodeeva, Elena Mezentseva (all Biryusa Krasnoyarsk), Evgeniya Dyupina, Diana Kanaeva (both Dynamo Saint Petersburg), Oksana Bratishcheva, Viktoriya Kulishova (both SKIF Nizhny Novgorod), Alexandra Vafina, Fanuza Kadirova (both SK Gorniy), Olga Sosina (Agidel Ufa).
The team will then participate at the Five Nations competition in Vierumaki, Finland.
