Sochi Hockey Open. Avangard - Russian Olympic team

The Russian Olympic national team will take on HC Avangard Omsk in the opening match of the 2019 Sochi Hockey Open.
Yesterday, the opening day of the competition took place, as Lokomotiv defeated Avangard 3:1 and HC Sochi overcome Dinamo Riga 2:1 in a penalty shootout.
The Russian players have been training in Sochi since July 30. Since then, they have competed in six training sessions both on and off the ice, and there are three goalkeepers, 10 defensemen and 15 forwards currently with the team.
"We have a target of developing our young players," stated head coach, Oleg Bratash. "We are keeping the 2022 Olympic Games in mind. We always have a goal of winning every match."
Puck drop is scheduled for 13:00 local time at the Shayba Arena in Sochi. KHL TV and KHL TV HD will broadcast live.
