Senior Russian national team head coach Ilya Vorobyov spoke about the 4;3 victory against the USA in the quarter-finals of the 2019 IIHF World Championship:
- Patrick Kane is a good, strong player, but the main thing is that we managed to win. In these matches at this level, everything can change within a second. We had also seen that against Sweden.
