Head coach of the senior Russian national team, Ilya Vorobyov, shared his opinions after the 3:0 triumph over Switzerland at the 2019 IIHF World Championship:
- Switzerland have a good, organised team. We played well and took advantage of our opportunities. The opponents didn't surprise us. Alexander Georgiev's penalty? Yes, it's a penalty according to the rules, but the referees need to keep up with what's happening on the ice. Nikita Kucherov and Nikita Gusev are playing great together.
