Andrei Vasilevskiy: "It was a tough third period"

18.05.2019
Andrei Vasilevskiy, goalkeeper of the senior Russian national team, gave an interview after beating Latvia 3:1 in the group stage of the 2019 IIHF World Championship:

- Latvia have more quality than Italy, the 3:1 scoreline proves that. We worked hard and earned the victory. The third period was tough, but the guys did a great job by holding on. The Latvians scored first? It doesn't matter, the match lasts 60 minutes. We simply needed to stick to the game plan. The defensemen always help me, true teamwork. Switzerland? The coach will say who will be the starting goalkeeper. We're preparing for the match.
