2019 World Championship. Russia - Austria

On May 10, the senior Russian national team will take on Austria in the second match of the 2019 IIHF World Championship group stage.

Two days ago, Russia made a winning start to the competition, defeating Norway 5:2 with goals from Evgeny Dadonov, Artyom Anisimov, Nikita Kucherov and Nikita Gusev, while goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 25 of 27 opposing shots.

For their part, Austria took on Latvia on Saturday, conceding a 2:5 loss. The majority of their players compete in the EBEL, while others play their ice hockey in Sweden, Finland, Switzerland and Germany.

Puck drop is scheduled for 13.15 Moscow time. Match TV will broadcast live in Russia.
