Oleg Bratash: "The players were full of motivation"
26.04.2019
Russian Olympic team head coach Oleg Bratash and forward Andrei Kuzmenko shared their thoughts on the 7:1 victory against Norway at the 2019 Saint Petersburg Hockey Open.
Russian Olympic team head coach Oleg Bratash:
- This was a good, physical game. Norway are improving every year. The score is large because our players were full of motivation, rather than the Norwegians being weak. I want to point out our commitment, everyone gave their all.
Russian Olympic team forward Andrei Kuzmenko:
- It's good that we scored a quick goal. Everything worked out in attack. Norway have a good team, but with our mutual understanding and excellent combination play, we achieved the required result. We enjoyed playing the match. Yes, we also made mistakes, but these things happen.
