Euro Hockey Challenge. Latvia - Russia - 2:1 OT

In the second 2018/2019 Euro Hockey Challenge match between the countries, Latvia gained revenge over Russia for Wednesday's defeat, claiming a tense 2:1 victory in overtime.

During the second period, defenseman Artyom Zub had given Russia the lead, but Ronalds Kenins equalised shorthanded for Latvia midway through the third frame.

Kaspars Daugavins then netted the winner in overtime.

Russia will now prepare for the upcoming Euro Hockey Tour stage in the Czech Republic.
