In the bronze medal match of the 2019 IIHF World Championship, the senior Russian women's national team fell 0:7 to Canada.

Canada gained a 2:0 advantage in the opening frame, and in the remaining two, the opponents netted a grand total of five goals to run out 7:0 winners.

Russia finish in fourth position of the competition.
