Vladislav Khromykh speaks about beating Slovakia

Vladislav Khromykh, head coach of the Russian men's student national team, shared his views after beating Slovakia 2:1 in overtime at the 2019 Winter Universiade.

- It was a tough match. As a result of being nervous for the first match, not everything worked out for the guys, but they managed to score the required goals at the right time. It's good that we've been given such a tough test at the beginning of the competition. Over the course of the competition, I'm sure that the players will get used to playing with one another, and there was a great atmosphere inside the stadium.
