Russian Women’s National Team plays in consolation round

In XXII Winter Olympic Games Tournament Quaterfinal game Russian Women’s National Team lost Switzerland and will take part in consolation Round for places 5-8.

After yesterday’s defeat in Quaterfinal Russians had to fight for prestige and perspective. Indeed, the higher team’s place in final standings the more points it gets in International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) rating.
