In Novogorsk, the under 18 Russian national team competed in a friendly match against Russia U17 ahead of two upcoming tournaments, with the more experienced players winning 3:1.
Yegor Chinakhov, Takhir Mingachev and Maxim Groshev scored for Russia U18, while for the under 17 national team, Stepan Steshenko struck the target.
In Sochi, Russia U18 will now participate in the Five Nations, while Russia U17 prepare their own Five Nations competition.
