On January 29, the under 18 Russian national team competed in a friendly match against MHC Atlanty at the Novogorsk training complex, winning 8:0.

The players are preparing for an upcoming Five Nations tournament which will take place in Sochi between the 5th and 9th of February. On February 3, the team will compete in an exhibition game with the under 17 Russian national team.
