13.12.2018
After defeating Slovakia 2:1 at the 2018 Luzern Cup, Russian Olympic national team head coach Vladislav Provolnev gave their opinions on the victory.

Russian Olympic team head coach Oleg Bratash:

- As we expected, it was a very tight game. Slovakia are a serious opponent and our guys tried to stick to the game plan. Of course, not everything was perfect, but the guys treated the game with the correct mentality. All of the players gave their best.

Russian Olympic team defenseman Vladislav Provolnev:

- Overall, we didn't play badly. Alexander Khokhlachyov scored an excellent goal in the closing stages. It's great that we won and I hope this tradition continues. Slovakia have a good team which plays in a very physical manner. We didn't lose the battles on the ice and managed to win.
