Legends Cup in honour of Anatoly Tarasov's 100th birthday

Between the 8th and 9th of December, the fifth Legends Cup will take place at the LUZHKI Club Ice Arena in Moscow Region.

The organiser of the tournament, which is dedicated to the 100th birthday of legendary ice hockey coach Anatoly Tarasov, is the Legends League organisation with support from Nornikel.

Tatyana Tarasova, who is the daughter of Anatoly and a member of the Figure Skating Hall of Fame, will be a special guest at the event.

Legends teams from CSKA Moscow, Spartak Moscow, Dynamo Moscow and Krylya Sovetov Moscow will all participate at the competition. Famous ice hockey players such as Vyacheslav Fetisov, Pavel Bure, Alexander Golikov, Vladimir Golikov, Alexei Kasatonov, Vladimir Myshkin, Igor Larionov, Vitaly Prokhorkov, Vyacheslav Anisin, Sergei Babinov, Vladimir Malakhov and Viktor Shalimov will play in the Legends Cup.

Children from the Anatoly Tarasov Golden Puck Club and the Vyacheslav Fetisov Ice Hockey Academy will also compete in a friendly match against each other. Since the Legends Cup began operating in 2011, CSKA Moscow have won it on four occasions and are the current reigning champions.
