Meeting in the Ministry of Sport

2 september in Russian Ministry of sport took place the conference which was attended by minister of sport Vitaly Mutko, president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretiak, president of the KHL Alexander Medvedev, managing director of the SHL German Skoropupov, managing director of MHL Dmitry Efimov, and others. Also the Russian Ice Hockey Federation was represented by its executive director Valeri Fesuyk and vice-president Nikolay Uryupin.

Vladislav Tretiak: «Today we talked about readiness of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation to hold Russian National Championships in the 2014-2015 season. I talked about general condition, about a work of  Russian Ice Hockey Federation in Young, Junior and Women hockey. Representatives of Leagues talked about readiness for the new game season.

I would like to thank the Ministry of sport in the name of Vitali Mutko for the organization of the conference where we were able to discuss many important points, including the participation of hockey-players in international tournaments consisting national teams during the season, and to enlist the support of the leagues.

I am glad that such meetings are held regularly, they help to achieve mutual understanding on important items. All of us are in tune for solving common problems, for victories of the National Team. The stronger Leagues gives a chance for worthy candidates to get into the main Russian Hockey Team. I wish us all a successful season!».
