The Russian national team's management and staff were given awards

On June 29, the people given awards by the Russian Federation President were named.

The first vice-president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and senior national team leader Roman Rotenberg was among the names on the awards list, alongside RIHF executive director Dmitry Kurbatov, advisor to the RIHF's first vice-president Oleg Kupriyanov, senior coach and head of the national team scouting service Alexei Zhamnov, national team coach Igor Nikitin and national team goalkeeping coach Rashit Davydov. They were all given the Order of Friendship award.

Deputy RIHF executive director Alexei Kireev and national team doctor Yegor Kozlov were given medals for Services to the Fatherland II level.

Russian national team serviceman Konstantin Rogatin received a medal for Services to the Fatherland I level.

The awards were given for the successful training of players for the 2018 Olympic Games in South Korea.
