Russian national team forward Artyom Anisimov:

- It was tough for me today, I hadn't played since April 7. I had trained a lot, but matches are a totally different ball game. However, things became easier after the opening period. I am really happy to be called up to the national team, it's an honour to wear the Russian jersey at international tournaments. Where did I get the news about being called up? I can't remember. It was a difficult season with my club, we had a lot of injuries. I am ready to be a leading player for Russia at the World Championship. It will be a testing tournament, all teams and players are progressing.
