Alexander Zybin and Anton Malyshev speak about the match against the USA

Russia U18 head coach Alexander Zybin:

- We played well during the entire match, but the mistake on the powerplay ruined everything. Amir Miftakhov, Kirill Marchenko and Danila Galenyuk were named our three best players at the competition? That's their decision. Kirill didn't do well against the Americans, maybe he's tired, but I agree with the decision. Amir Miftakhov played five matches. It was a big loss for us to not have Vasily Podkolzin playing.

Russia U18 defenseman Anton Malyshev:

- Luck was on the USA's side for their winning goal. It was an important match for us, we gave everything, but fate had it that we couldn't win. It's disappointing that we've lost the most important tournament of our lives, but hopefully we will all play in many big competitions again. We weren't any worse than the Americans, however we needed to take advantage of our chances.
