Evgeny Dadonov and Viktor Tikhonov speak about the match against Finland

21.04.2018
Russian national team forward Evgeny Dadonov:

- It's hard to say why we aren't scoring many goals. Probably, we need to block the goalkeeper's view more. We'll look into why we didn't perform well on the powerplay, but we don't need to change anything drastic before the match against the Czech Republic. I'm not surprised by Igor Shestyorkin's performances, he always plays well between the pipes.

Russian national team forward Viktor Tikhonov:

- In comparison to the match against Sweden, we started today's match better. However, in the second period, we gave the initiative to Finland and we're having problems with taking our chances. Only Alexei Byvaltsev's line is scoring. It's difficult to win when you only score twice in two games, we can't always rely on Igor Shestyorkin. When you have a new roster, you need time to get used to playing with one another. I am familiar with Ilya Vorobyov's system, I played with him in the Olympic (B) team.
