2018 World Championship. Russia U18 - France U18 - 7:1

The under 18 Russian national team thrashed France 7:1 in the first 2018 World Championship group stage match in Chelyabinsk.

Russia raced out into a 4:0 lead in the opening period, scoring through Semyon Kizimov, Ruslan Iskhakov, Yegor Zamula and Kirill Marchenko. Vladislav Mikhaylov and Dmitry Zavgorodniy increased the advantage in the second, making it 6:0 after 40 minutes.

Ivan Morozov then netted a seventh Russian goal, before Pierrick Dube grabbed a consolation for France. 7:1. Russia defeat the French in the opening 2018 World Championship fixture!
